Disaster on the Easter Egg Train Run!!

Hi folks,

Well what a day, we were invited to our friends Annual Easter Egg train run which is held in his own back garden close by. He made the track and the trains to run all around the garden between the plants and even under the garden shed.

He and his wife had spent all week setting up the event in which they invite friends and family with there children around to hunt the garden for eggs, a really nice gesture.

The  eggs are then collected and placed into the carriages and transported around the garden in this magnificent steam train before they all have a lovely tea and are given a full size egg.

Then disaster struck, a silly Squirrel and been playing on the track and must have left a nut there.

The train was soon righted and sent on it's way through the garden.

After tea and yummy cakes the children came back into the garden to play with a battery operated train with no steam to burn them. This train runs around the track pulling its own battery, clever eh.

The children then played games and made a tunnel for the train to go through and had a lovely time.

I wish I could show the children but in these sad times and being a public blog I am unable to.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt as much as the Children did.

Thanks for looking.

nite nite, luv Mike XX
